February 23,
Kimberly (Kimber) is freshened with a socked on udder and is still milking well into the season. She kidded with ease and if she has a doeling this year, it'll be one of the few we retain.

We retained several does from Bear this year to evaluate. He has heavy milkers and excellent pedigrees on both dam and sire sides. Things I love about him are his length, his topline, and rear leg angulation. Additionally he's a super laid back guy and isn't rushing the gate during breeding season. Many of his kids have his coat pattern.

Callie surprised me with her FF udder (unfortunately I didn't get pic). She earned a spot to assess her as a 2nd freshener. She did very well on the milk stand and is motivated by food. She has a chocolate/white pattern and has blue eyes.

We will be retaining from Norm more this year. The first doe I retained from him had a very productive udder. While not flashy in the traditional sense, there's a lot to like about this guy. I will be retaining a doeling from he and Poppy (and possibly Emmy) this year and believe this that pairing will produce very "correct" kids.

This guy is our newest buckling from Better Wayz and we are excited to see what he brings to our herd. His dam's udder looks amazing and I love her brisket.
Lily's genetics probably are the most "sparkly" on paper. She is a doe I'm anxious to get on milk test and appraised for sure. She's close to the top with production with that nice attachment, udder height, and teat size. And after a year, she finally thinks I'm ok as her servant - haha! She is a chocolate swiss and is polled.

What Vanilla lacks in "flash", she makes up for in milk. Possibly our heaviest milker as she milks well late into the season, she's a workhorse and has a wonderful foreudder! She's also one of the most adored on the farm. She's holding up well and we hope to breed her a few more years. I would like to improve her attachment and feet/ttoes in her kids.

Cruz is brand new to us and will bring that silver color to the herd. His lines stem from Flat Rock's. He will be bred to several first fresheners this year and we are excited to see these kids. He is developing well and I especially like his topline. An updated picture is needed of him.

Emmy has a lot of things going for her conformation wise. She's an angular doe with an excellent medial. Things to improve would be bringing teats in and improving attachment. She milked out a very good amount as a FF with a very soft udder. She is sweet and seeks people out for attention.

Vivi is Vanilla's daughter and will be a first freshener this upcoming spring. We are hoping she continues on the heavy milking line. Will be getting some updated pics of the upcoming FF's soon.

Spice had a nice FF udder and a soft udder and is milking well into the season. She trained so easily to the stand is eager to greet me each morning. She kidded this year with ease and was a fabulous mother.

Savanna was purchased our first year from Haycreeks and has matured nicely and we retained a 2021 doeling from her (Spice). She has very good milk production and usually gives us large litters with quads the last 3 years.

Phoebe is one of our original 4 starter goats from Bear Park Bluffs. She has a ton of personality and everybody here loves "Pheebs". I am anxious to have her appraised again as I think she'll score quite well. When she was appraised as a FF, she was not fully in milk. She's one of my goats that is well rounded in production and conformation. She is gold/white with moonspots.
